Job Description

 

Precision and Uncompromising on Quality:
o Work performed by the Compliance Department is prepared for Federal, state agencies, and other US regulating bodies. Open Payments data and state reports are subject to public disclosure and may potentially be scrutinized by customers, patients, regulators, and media. Therefore, precision, accuracy, and high quality are imperative.
Business Understanding:
o Develop a business understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and Compliance matters
o Understanding of Compliance policies related to Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Institutions
o Understanding of data sources that capture reportable information including: Concur (expenses), InterFace (speaker programs), HCP ReX (consulting/advisory), CTIS (clinical), and Spreadsheets (misc. data sources)
o Understanding of reportable data related to marketing payments, grants/charitable contributions, clinical investigations and R&D payments, and global payments to US HCPs
o Know how to identify questionable data to escalate for additional analysis or strategic compliance discussions
o Basic understanding of. Corporate Integrity Agreement

UG: B.Sc - Any Specialization

    Capacity and Back-Up Training:
    o Ensure that there is proper back-up for all processes and work tasks
    o Work with team leader to ensure a contingency resource plan has been setup and can be implemented any time
    o Provide on-the-job training and potentially act as a leader for future Business Analysts and new colleagues
    Develop New Tools:
    o Proactively identify and initiate initiatives which can drive changes, optimise processes related to data collection, reporting, or data quality initiatives within Compliance
    o Develop/maintain relevant databases to analyse data and other relevant information
    Cross Collaboration:
    o Work with GSC colleagues performing similar tasks for other units Finance, BA-BECO-HCP Office, BA-Assurance-Intelligence, etc.) to identify efficiencies and incorporate existing protocols for consistency
    Drive Simplification and Efficiency:
    o Challenge current standards and tools to drive continuous improvement for Compliance data quality and remediation
    Proactivity:
    o Ensure proactive and regular communication with Compliance concerning status
    o Raise red flags if necessary to avoid unsound development in planned activities
    o Identify mitigating actions and provide recommendations to stakeholders
